Recently I took a short trip to The Land of the Hornbills. Upon arriving at the airport, I suddenly thought of the old grandma tales that one ought to kiss the land upon being in a place for the first time ..... After much thought and considering many people are around me ... I decided not to ... Yes .... It was my first visit to Kuching, being a East Malaysian, I was embarrassed as it is a beautiful city to be in and it was just an hour by air from Kota Kinabalu. Anyway, I'd like to show some street shots I manage to photograph while walking around the City of Cats ...
Formerly known as Holiday Inn Hotel, now it's re-branded as Grand Magherita Hotel Waterfront.
When in Sarawak, one must try "Ikan Terubuk". Its a salted fish which has enormous bones but when fried tastes awesome .... Photo was shot at Pasar Satok ..
